Performs Well Even Under High Heat Conditions

The Pulsar Non-Coring Bits are great for cutting small holes in natural stone or tile for anchoring, fastening, or inserting attachments. These bits can be run dry and cut best between 500 and 2,000 rpm depending on the material. The diamond matrix allows these non-coring bits to perform well even under high heat conditions. Outfitted with a 5/8"-11 female thread they are run using a grinder. For use with a standard 1/2" chuck drill, use adapter part # 38CB0805. Available in sizes from 3/16" to 1/2".

Blind Hole Bits versus Non-Coring Bits. What’s the difference?

Blind hole means a hole the does not go all the way through the material.   Blind holes are typically smaller in diameter (1/2" to 3/16") and are also considered non-coring.  The reason that they are referred to as non-coring is because the bit is too small to leave a core.  Additionally, most non-coring bits are drilled blind as opposed to all the way through the material because some sort of anchor or clip is installed.  Most commonly these are used to attach some sort or anchor, insert or clip for sink installation.
