Bridge Saw Blades
Miter Cut Blades 101
Typically, a true miter blade will have a solid steel core versus a silent core. A solid core blade is very loud but does not flex as much as a silent core blade. Therefore, it provides the cleanest possible miter cut. Less Flex = Better Miter Cut. Most fabricators use their silent core granite or quartzite blades to cut miter in order to minimize cost.
For large and/or expensive miter jobs, the miter specific blades offer a great solution to achieve the most chip-free, straight cut possible.
